Meet the Team

Julianne Hidirsah

President

Julianne grew up immersed in the custom window treatment and upholstery industry, spending afternoons and summers at her family’s business in Bergen County. From helping clients to learning about design trends at the dinner table, the industry became second nature. Before co-founding The Main Street Workroom, she spent a decade in NYC as a pastry chef, training under acclaimed names like Vicki Wells, Thierry Atlan, Pasquale Frola, and Masaharu Morimoto. Her time in fine dining honed her precision, adaptability, and dedication to excellence. After the pandemic, Julianne returned to the family business, reintroducing Hunter Douglas and bringing a fresh, modern perspective inspired by design trends and social media. With deep roots and a bold vision, she’s leading the next generation of custom design.

George Pecoraro

Director of Operations/Master Installer & Upholster

George is a Hunter Douglas Certified Installer and PowerView Pro, known for his precision, product expertise, and customer-first approach. A Bergen County native, he understands the style and expectations of the NYC metro area. Before joining the family business, George spent 7 years at Cintas, consistently exceeding sales goals through exceptional client service. A former NCAA Division 1 football player at the University of New Hampshire, he brings teamwork, discipline, and leadership to every project. George began as an apprentice under his father-in-law, Master Upholsterer Ennis Hidirsah, learning the trade from the ground up. Today, he leads installations, trains new team members, and works closely with clients to deliver high-quality, customized window solutions.

Ennis Hidirsah

Co-Founder at Large | Former President

Ennis Hidirsah’s journey in upholstery began in 1971, when he immigrated to the U.S. and joined his father in opening their first family workroom in Fort Lee, NJ. Immersed in the art of craftsmanship from a young age, Ennis developed a deep appreciation for detail, quality, and the stories behind every piece. Years later, he partnered with his daughter Julianne to open The MainStreet Workroom—carrying forward a proud family tradition and blending generations of skill with a dedication to personalized service. Now semi-retired and living in St. Augustine, Florida, Ennis continues to serve as a trusted advisor to Julianne and his son-in-law George. He remains closely connected to the business, offering insight, wisdom, and a steady commitment to the values that have guided the family for decades. For Ennis, it’s not just about building furniture—it’s about building legacy.
